We are absolutely obsessed with our eagles. They live about 2 miles from our house. Every time we pass where they live we search for them.
This morning Momma - affectionately named Lilly - was perched in a tree near the nest while Papa aka Bud was at his usual hangout. You can see the nest in the background.
This afternoon on our way home from the zoo, I took this picture with Larry, her toddler.
When I drove around the corner to get a different shot we made an exciting discovery. Lilly actually has 2 toddlers. You may have to click on the photo to get a better look.

How cool! That would be so exciting to see each day.
We mostly get vultures. Somehow it's just not the same :o)
these pictures are great. I am thinking about doing our next study on birds and we may just have to pay your friends a visit.
