"Sometimes a girl's just gotta cry." That's what I told Roddy this morning.
I was going to climb into the tub to look out the bathroom windows to check for rain when I slammed my kneecap into the top edge of the tile covering the tub. I've done it before but never this hard. Roddy tried to make a joke saying, "That's going to leave a mark!" Normally, very funny. But I was in a lot of pain. So not so funny today.
I'm not normally a cryer. Although, I will admit since becoming a mother, I totally understand why people cry at Hallmark commercials. But sometimes, when my hormones don't make me cranky, they make me weepy. Add guilt to that and you've got a waterfall waiting to happen.
A couple of things yesterday were weighing on my mind still this morning and after hitting my knee so hard I just started crying. I couldn't help it. Poor Roddy. Probably felt bad for trying to be funny. I finally stopped and as soon as I was done I felt so much better!!
So, sometimes a girl's just gotta cry.

Girl....I'm a blubber case. Pull at my heart strings and it's OVER...blotchy face and all! :)
Sorry you bruised your knee so bad...that DOES hurt!
