He looked like he was scared to death, but Jackson got up in front of thousands of people this weekend to promote "Jackson's Bibles."
We have a Saturday night
and two Sunday morning services.
He got to go up during the announcement time of each service and Pastor David told everyone about his idea of collecting Bibles for the homeless.

Wow that's a really big church! How do you know anybody there?
Great job, Jackson! Yahoo!
To answer the Wright's question - in a big church you need to be intentional about meeting and connecting. Small groups, Bible studies, volunteering. I feel more connected in our church of over 2000 than I ever felt in the early days when it was about 350. When it was smaller, it felt more like everybody knew "my business" but no one really knew me. You know?
I guess the same could be said for a big family. I (and I'm sure Jenny) am often asked how I give each child the attention he/she needs in such a large family. The answer - I need to be intentional about it.
In some ways, I think the intentionality that comes with making close connections in a big group is actually better. At least for me, in a small church or with just one or two kids, it was so easy to be lazy about really knowing people/my kids. Now, I can't get away with slacking off. :)
Wow...what a moment for Jay! I am sure this will be an event to remember. God will bless this effort. Love Meme
Very cool!!!
Good job Jackson! That took guts! Shoot, there are grown ups who wouldn't be able to do that.
WOW, you could never get me to stand up there! Way to go Jackson!!!
