I love learning new things. During the "teaching time" of the last 2 butterfly days, I ended up trying to talk over the kids and moms. I felt like I was yelling to be heard. For one, I felt bad shushing the kids since they weren't mine and their mom's were right there.
This time, I tried a little trick I saw Mrs. Wortham use in one of my boys' Sunday school classes. She whispered! She didn't raise her voice when the kids started talking. She lowered it. So this time, I shushed and when I felt like I wanted to talk louder to be heard, I spoke quieter. It was so much nicer (I'm sure for all involved).

My only disappointment was that I only had 2 little butterflies for them to look at and hold.

We had a GREAT time Jenny!
Your kids were so helpful and kind...a trait their momma has taught them well! Your patience is admirable...we love the hands-on learning (so much nicer than a day with workbooks and flashcards!)
Thanks for doing it Jenny! We had a wonderful time...Aaron was telling everyone about the butterflies he got to hold. Your children did a great job at their stations!
