Garage Makeover

Hallelujah!!

My garage was starting to take over. With holiday decoration containers taking up the 2-car side of the garage and all our other stuff taking up the 1-car side and spreading to the 2-car side, it was starting to get to me.

My sweet husband has organized the garage several times for me and even built a platform to give us a mini 2-story on one side. We can park all the bikes and cars under it and have storage and the drum set on top.

However, after the holiday stuff and all the cleaning out of the playroom over the last few months, there was a lot that just needed to go!

I called in reinforcement. Hubby's mom and dad came over yesterday to exchange our Christmas gifts and they spent the night so they could help me really get the garage organized. We filled up two large city trash cans (one borrowed from the empty house across the street), sorted and organized all the toys to give away, made room enough for the Excursion and hubby's car to fit and hopefully made it much more user friendly for the kids to clean up after themselves. My MIL is like the Energizer Bunny. We were finished by 3 o'clock. I thought for sure it would be a 2-day ordeal.

I thought after the fact that I should have taken before and after pics. Sorry. But feel free to come on over and see my it! It's so pretty and clean.

Thanks Meme and Papa for all your help and hard work!

How exciting! You are my "go-to" girl when we finally get in the new house and I need to figure how to effectively organize it!!
Hope your MIL is doing good - any updates on the friend she donated to?

Jenny, you are more than welcomed. We really or should I say, that "I" enjoy doing work that it not a high priority item on your list but really needs to be done. Anytime, just ask.....

Talked to Carol yesterday and she is feeling well and the doctors are going to wait another 6 weeks to evulate her status. She is walking a mile each day now and her water retention is under control.

Thanks for shaing with your friends and keep asking God to do a miracle and let this kidney start functioning to a level that the doctors like.

Love, Meme
